4. Data collection on this website

Cookies
Our Internet pages use so-called "cookies". Cookies are small text files and do not cause any damage to your device. They are stored either temporarily for the duration of a session (session cookies) or permanently (permanent cookies) on your device. Session cookies are automatically deleted after your visit. Permanent cookies remain stored on your terminal device until you delete them yourself or your web browser automatically deletes them.

In some cases, cookies from third-party companies can also be stored on your device when you enter our website (third-party cookies). These enable us or you to use certain third-party services (e.g. cookies for processing payment services).

Cookies have different functions. Numerous cookies are technically necessary because certain website functions would not work without them (e.g. the shopping cart function or the display of videos). Other cookies are used to evaluate user behaviour or to display advertising.

Cookies that are required to carry out the electronic communication process (necessary cookies) or to provide certain functions that you have requested (functional cookies, e.g. for the shopping cart function) or to optimize the website (e.g. cookies to measure the web audience) are stored on the basis of Art. 6, Para. 1 lit. f GDPR, unless another legal basis is given. The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing cookies for the technically error-free and optimized provision of its services. If consent to the storage of cookies has been requested, the storage of the relevant cookies takes place exclusively on the basis of this consent (Art. 6, Para. 1 lit. a GDPR); the consent can be revoked at any time.

You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when you close the browser. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be restricted.

Insofar as cookies are used by third-party companies or for analysis purposes, we will inform you of this separately in the context of this data protection declaration and, if necessary, request your consent.

Server log files
The website provider automatically collects and saves information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

  • Browser type and browser version

  • operating system used

  • Referrer URL

  • Host name of the accessing computer

  • Time of the server request

  • IP address

This data is not combined with other data sources. This data is recorded on the basis of Art. 6, Para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimization of his website - for this, the server log files must be recorded.

contact form
If you send us inquiries using the contact form, your details from the inquiry form, including the contact details you provided there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the request and in case of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent.

This data is processed on the basis of Article 6, Para. 1 lit. b GDPR, provided that your request is related to the performance of a contract or is necessary to carry out pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective processing of the inquiries sent to us (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6, Para. 1 lit. a GDPR) if this was queried.

The data you enter in the contact form will remain with us until you ask us to delete it, revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been processed). Mandatory legal provisions - in particular retention periods - remain unaffected.

Inquiry by email, phone or fax
If you contact us by e-mail, telephone or fax, your request, including all personal data derived from it (name, request) will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of processing your request. We do not pass on this data without your consent.

This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6, Para. 1 lit. b GDPR, provided that your request is related to the performance of a contract or is necessary to carry out pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective processing of the inquiries sent to us (Art. 6, Para. 1 lit. f GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6, Para. 1 lit. a GDPR) if this was queried.

The data you send to us via contact inquiries will remain with us until you ask us to delete it, revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been processed). Mandatory legal provisions - in particular retention periods - remain unaffected.

5. Newsletter
Newsletter data

If you would like to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we need an e-mail address from you as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the e-mail address provided and that you agree to receive the newsletter. Further data is not collected or is only collected on a voluntary basis. We use this data exclusively for sending the requested information and do not pass it on to third parties.

The processing of the data entered in the newsletter registration form takes place exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6, Para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can revoke your consent to the storage of the data, the e-mail address and their use for sending the newsletter at any time, for example via the "Unsubscribe" link in the newsletter. The legality of the data processing operations already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data you have stored with us for the purpose of subscribing to the newsletter will be stored by us or the newsletter service provider until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and will be deleted from the newsletter distribution list after you unsubscribe from the newsletter or after the purpose has ceased to exist. We reserve the right to delete or block e-mail addresses from our newsletter distribution list at our own discretion within the framework of our legitimate interest in accordance with Art. 6, Para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

After you have been removed from the newsletter distribution list, your email address may be stored in a blacklist by us or the newsletter service provider in order to prevent future mailings. The data from the blacklist will only be used for this purpose and will not be merged with other data.

This serves both your interest and our interest in compliance with the legal requirements when sending newsletters (legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6, Para. 1 lit. f GDPR). The storage in the blacklist is not limited in time. You can object to the storage provided that your interests outweigh our legitimate interests.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Newsletter tool SuperOffice

Sales-as-a-Service GmbH produces and sends out newsletters via its CRM automation tool SuperOffice © ( https://www.superoffice.de ). The provider and operator of this solution is SuperOffice AS, based in Oslo (Norway); represented in Germany by SuperOffice GmbH based in Dortmund. The hosting of the web-based solution and the storage of all data contained therein takes place at Visma ITC AS, which is also based in Oslo (Norway), so it is within the scope of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 2016/679 of April 27, 2016. The obligation to protect personal data in accordance with the GDPR is therefore binding.

The collection of personal data for customer communication takes place through the use of "consent forms" in which the documentation of the individual's consent is stored. Consents from individuals are generally stored in SuperOffice and thus documented. Therefore, we can send digital marketing material such as newsletters via email to people who have consented.

A text with a link is always added to the end of a newsletter, which the recipient can use to subscribe to the newsletter himself (double opt-in) or withdraw it (opt-out) after the invitation.

Use of Google Fonts

This online presence uses Google Fonts. This can improve the loading time, as the font used may already be in the website visitor's browser cache and therefore does not have to be loaded separately. However, IP addresses (and possibly other information) can be returned to the Google server via Google Fonts, so that tracking of users would be possible (further information on this in https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq ).

The use of Google Fonts takes place in the interest of an appealing presentation of our online offer. This represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6, Para. 1 lit.f GDPR.

Software

This website was created by the online software Wix (company contact: Namal 40, 6350671 Tel Aviv, Israel):

The hosting is regulated in a data processing agreement: https://de.wix.com/about/privacy-dpa-users

The data protection declaration for the services of Wix can be read here: https://de.wix.com/about/privacy

Websites hosted at WIX are delivered TLS-encrypted (HTTPS). You can recognize the secure connection by the small green lock symbol in the address bar of your web browser.

The images on this website are stored on a Wix server. When you access these images, your IP address is sent to Wix, as well as the time of access, the page you accessed and your browser configuration.

Openstreetmap

A map section from Openstreetmap [ www.openstreetmap.de ] is integrated in this website. We want to support you in planning your visit to our company so that you can get an initial overview.

Openstreetmap is operated by the OpenStreetMap Foundation (OSM) (Openstreetmap Foundation, St John's Innovation Center, Cowley Road, Cambridge, CB4 0WS, United Kingdom). “The OpenStreetMap Foundation is a non-profit organization that supports the OpenStreetMap Project. The OpenStreetMap Project based at at OpenStreetMap.org is the worldwide mapping effort that includes over two million volunteers around the globe.” (Source: https://blog.openstreetmap.org/about/ ). The use of all OSMF-operated services is regulated by the "Acceptable Use Policies" and the privacy policy [ https://wiki.osmfoundation.org/wiki/Privacy_Policy ].

Further information on the handling of personal data is available here: https://wiki.osmfoundation.org/wiki/Licence/Licence_and_Legal_FAQ

When using the OpenStreetMap functions, it is necessary to save your IP address. This information is usually transferred to an OpenStreetMap server and stored there. As the operator of this website, we have no influence on this data transfer. The use of the map is in the interest of an appealing presentation of the services of our law firm and of an easy findability of the business premises of our law firm. This represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6, Para. 1 lit.f GDPR.
